This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining AI and ML workflows across cloud environments, primarily AWS. You will work with AI Developers, Data Engineers, and Business teams to suggest, design, and implement automated, secure solutions, leveraging AWS services, AI frameworks, and automation tools for scalable, efficient, and secure delivery.

Essential Job Functions

1. Develop and manage AI/ML pipelines using AWS services like Bedrock, Sagemaker, Vector DBs (pgvector, Kendra, OpenSearch).
2. Design, implement, and optimize RAG pipelines using LangChain, HayStack, or AutoGen, including data ingestion, embedding, retrieval, and generation.
3. Design autonomous agent architectures with AutoGen, LangGraph, implementing prompt engineering and communication protocols.
4. Explore and implement new LLM architectures and techniques to enhance RAG capabilities with AWS Bedrock.
5. Integrate and fine-tune Hugging Face Transformers in LangChain workflows for NLP tasks.
6. Design and optimize cloud infrastructure for AI and RAG, focusing on scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
7. Implement CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices for automation.
8. Enable data scientists to explore data, test hypotheses, and share insights using Pytorch and Jupyter notebooks.
9. Collaborate with product teams, data scientists, and engineers to deliver AI solutions.
10. Set up system monitoring tools (e.g., Cloudwatch, Prometheus, Grafana) for performance and reliability.
11. Other duties as assigned by your manager.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
2. 12+ years industry experience, with 2+ years in a VP or equivalent role.
3. Expertise in AWS services (Bedrock, Sagemaker, Glue, S3, IAM, Vector DBs).
4. Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
5. Experience with AI/MLOps platforms (Langchain, MLflow, Kubeflow, DSPy).
6. Knowledge of distributed systems and large-scale data frameworks (Spark, Hadoop).
7. Experience with GIT platforms like Azure DevOps, GitHub.
8. Strong understanding of DevOps practices (Kubernetes, Terraform).
9. Familiarity with container orchestration tools (Docker).
10. Advanced knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and prompt engineering.
11. Background in data science or ML lifecycle management.
12. Strong commitment, team player, excellent communication skills, adaptable to change.
