This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining AI and ML workflows across cloud environments, primarily AWS. You will work with AI Developers, Data Engineers, and Business teams to suggest, design, and implement automated, secure solutions using AWS services, modern AI frameworks, and automation tools.

Essential Job Functions

1. Develop and manage AI/ML pipelines with AWS services like Bedrock, Sagemaker, Vector DBs (pgvector, Kendra, OpenSearch)
2. Design, implement, and optimize RAG pipelines using LangChain, HayStack, AutoGen, including data ingestion, embedding, retrieval, and generation
3. Design autonomous agent architectures with AutoGen, LangGraph, implementing prompt engineering and communication protocols
4. Explore and implement new LLM architectures to enhance RAG capabilities using AWS Bedrock
5. Integrate and fine-tune Hugging Face Transformers models within workflows for NLP tasks
6. Design and optimize cloud infrastructure focusing on scalability, security, and cost-efficiency
7. Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices for automation
8. Enable data scientists to explore data and share insights using Pytorch and Jupyter notebooks
9. Collaborate with product teams, data scientists, and engineers to deliver AI solutions
10. Set up system monitoring tools (e.g., Cloudwatch, Prometheus, Grafana) for performance and reliability
11. Perform other duties as assigned by your manager

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 12+ years of industry experience, with 2+ years in a VP or equivalent role
• Expertise in AWS services: Bedrock, Sagemaker, Glue, S3, IAM, Vector Databases (PGVector, OpenSearch, Kendra)
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript
• Experience with AI/MLOps platforms like Langchain, MLflow, Kubeflow, DSPy
• Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks (Spark, Hadoop)
• Experience with GIT platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices: Kubernetes, Terraform
• Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Docker
• Advanced knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and prompt engineering
• Background in data science or ML lifecycle management
• Strong commitment, teamwork, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and technologies

The annual salary range is $130,000 - $200,000, with compensation based on experience, education, and location. Additional benefits include bonuses, PTO, holidays, and health and retirement plans.
