This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining AI and Machine Learning workflows primarily within AWS Cloud, working closely with AI Developers, Data Engineers, and Business teams to create secure, automated solutions using AWS services, modern AI frameworks, and automation tools.

Essential Job Functions

1. Develop and manage AI/ML pipelines using AWS services such as Bedrock, Sagemaker, Vector DBs (pgvector, Kendra, OpenSearch).
2. Design, implement, and optimize RAG pipelines with LangChain, HayStack, or AutoGen, including data ingestion, embedding, retrieval, and generation.
3. Create autonomous agent architectures using AutoGen, LangGraph, implementing prompt engineering and communication protocols.
4. Explore and implement new LLM architectures and techniques with AWS Bedrock to enhance RAG capabilities.
5. Integrate and fine-tune Hugging Face Transformers models within workflows for NLP tasks.
6. Design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure for AI and RAG functionalities.
7. Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices for deployment automation.
8. Support data scientists with data exploration, hypothesis testing, and sharing insights using Pytorch and Jupyter notebooks.
9. Collaborate with product teams, data scientists, and engineers to deliver AI solutions aligned with business needs.
10. Set up system monitoring tools like Cloudwatch, Prometheus, and Grafana for performance and reliability.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of industry experience, including 2+ years in a VP or equivalent role.
• Expertise in AWS services: Bedrock, Sagemaker, Glue, S3, IAM, Vector Databases (PGVector, OpenSearch, Kendra).
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with AI/MLOps platforms like Langchain, MLflow, Kubeflow, DSPy.
• Knowledge of distributed computing and data processing frameworks (Spark, Hadoop).
• Experience with GIT platforms (Azure DevOps, GitHub).
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices (Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Familiarity with container orchestration tools (Docker).
• Advanced AI/ML frameworks and prompt engineering skills.
• Background in data science or ML lifecycle management.
• Strong commitment, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and technologies.

The annual salary range is $130,000 - $200,000, determined by experience, education, skills, and location. Compensation may include bonuses, benefits, PTO, health insurance, and 401K.
