Job summary

Unisys is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to help secure and evolve our global systems across IT, engineering and product teams.

You will analyze security data, design DNS/HTTP/microservices and CICD pipelines with robust access control and encryption, and document findings for stakeholders. Collaboration and automation are key to success in this role.

Qualifications

Job description

What success looks like in this role:

• Interfaces with Information Technology (IT), Engineering / Product Development and other technical counterparts, customers and third parties to ensure an integrated approach to understanding and meeting global security needs.
• Interprets and analyzes security data, identifying patterns and anomalies and providing advice and consultation across major program and solution areas.
• Designs and develops new systems, applications and solutions for services such as DNS, HTTP Servers, MicroServices, Container Infrastructure and CICD pipelines - helps ensure appropriate access control, encryption, security controls and compliance.
• Ensures system security needs are established and maintained for operations development, security requirements definition, security risk assessment, systems analysis, systems design, security test and evaluation, etc.
• Contributes to the definition of engineering standards and technologies / frameworks and leads associated working groups.
• Communicates complex security and related technical and procedural information clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
• Provides complex analysis of potential security risks to and recommends innovative, scalable and sustainable solutions.
• Integrates network security controls into an environment to identify risks and reduce their impact.
• Accurately and comprehensively documents security issues, findings and recommendations.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree and 8+ years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience Master's degree preferred
