Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Manager, Design Intelligence & AI Catalyst to build, deploy, and maintain M&S and AI solutions that augment data decision-making. You will work within the DAIA team to develop prioritized use cases using R, dashboards, and agentic AI frameworks, collaborating with stakeholders to produce production-ready tools and robust benchmarks.

Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, CS or related field with 5–7 years experience or PhD with 2+ years.
Strong hands-on development experience in R and interactive dashboards.
Experience with agentic AI development and orchestration frameworks.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain M&S and AI solutions across prioritized use cases.
Build user-friendly tools and dashboards addressing end-user needs.
Assess feasibility and document design rationale for deterministic vs AI-enabled approaches.
Create benchmark test sets to ensure accuracy and reproducibility.
Iterate on deployed tools from stakeholder feedback and evolving needs.
Translate requirements into production-ready solutions through collaboration.
