Job summary

Everfield seeks an AI Builder to join its product team as a hands-on engineer working alongside BU teams. You will prototype with agentic coding tools, ship end-to-end features, and collaborate with BU engineers to ensure maintainable, production-ready solutions.

You should bring 3–8 years of experience in engineering, founding roles, or hybrid product/engineering roles, plus comfort with varied codebases and direct customer exposure.

Qualifications

• Senior engineer with shipped software to real users.
• Founder or near-founder with ownership of a product.
• AI-native ways of working with agentic coding tools.
• Polyglot across stacks with production experience in multiple languages.
• Comfort with messy, legacy code and ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Build agent-first products end to end inside Everfield's BU codebases.
• Drop into BU codebases, ship working software fast across backend, data, workflows, and UI.
• Run agentic coding with Claude Code, Codex, SpecKit as the default approach.
• Prototype directly with BU customers and iterate based on actual usage.
• Hand off production-ready code with documentation and a concise technical narrative.
