Content Creators is hiring a Technical Writer to shape how AI benchmarks and policy are described. You’ll produce long-form analyses, product launches, customer stories, and technical explainers that translate complex research into clear, actionable writing.

You’ll interview researchers and engineers, ghostwrite for leaders, and help decide what topics to pursue rather than just follow a calendar. This role requires strong technical literacy, an editorial point of view, speed, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Portfolio of long-form technical writing (essays, research blog posts, lab posts, or industry reporting).
• Strong technical literacy; ability to read papers and extract accurate insights.
• Editorial point of view; ability to push back on weak takes and offer clear perspective.
• Speed; ability to publish a post within hours of a major model release.
• Ability to work in-person, in San Francisco; relocation support available.

Responsibilities

• Interview customers, researchers, engineers, and technical leaders to produce long-form pieces.
• Help establish Vals Smith as a leading enterprise evaluation platform through launches, case studies, and analyses.
• Ghostwrite and edit for leadership and technical team members as needed.
• Help decide what topics to write about beyond the content calendar.
