Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors in Colorado is seeking a quantitative researcher to join the team. You will partner with asset allocation PMs and researchers to move ideas from notebook to production, including signals, CMAs, optimization, and portfolio construction rules.

You will also build and extend the research platform with data ingestion, back testing, scenario analysis, monitoring, and reporting. You will own the multi-asset data layer and ensure data quality trusted by PMs, while using AI

Qualifications

• Built industrial-scale enterprise-quality quantitative models from PM specs.
• Deployed quantitative models to production and monitored performance.
• Familiar with the SDLC including testing and deployment.
• Heavy user of modern AI tools for coding and prototyping.
• Written extensive documentation of model implementations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with asset allocation PMs/researchers to take ideas from notebook to production: signals, CMAs, optimization, portfolio construction, rebalancing rules, attribution.
• Build and extend the research platform: data ingestion, back testing, scenario analysis, portfolio construction, monitoring, reporting.
• Own the multi-asset data layer: market data, macro, fundamentals, internal holdings, quality control trusted by PMs.
• Use AI coding agents daily for prototyping, refactoring, testing, and documentation.
