Janus Henderson invites a highly skilled quantitative engineer to join our team in a hybrid Denver-area role. You will partner with asset allocation PMs and researchers, taking ideas from notebook to production, building data pipelines, and owning the multi-asset data layer while applying AI-assisted engineering practices.

You will mentor peers, maintain production quality, enhance research tooling, and contribute to compliant, well-documented code bases.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of building enterprise-scale quantitative models.
• Experience deploying models to production and monitoring performance.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (testing, deployment).
• Extensive use of AI tools for coding and prototyping.
• Documentation detailing model implementations and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with asset allocation PMs and researchers to take ideas from notebook to production.
• Build and extend the team's research platform including data ingestion and backtesting.
• Own the multi-asset data layer and ensure data quality trusted by PMs.
• Use AI coding agents daily for prototyping, refactoring, testing, and documentation.
• Build AI-backed tooling for research workflows, client reporting, and meeting prep.
• Write production code with emphasis on reliability, testing, and observability.
• Mentor teammates in AI-augmented engineering practices.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
