Erias Ventures is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement Java-based software capabilities for complex systems. You will work with a talented team to deliver software that meets client needs and supports mission goals at Fort Meade, MD, with partial telework.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software engineering, strong Java frameworks (Spring, Guava), API design, REST/microservices, and agile practices.

Qualifications

• Five plus (5+) years of software engineering experience with modern Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Guava) and a related bachelor's degree, or three (3) years with a master's degree, or nine years with a high school diploma.
• Strong Java development skills and experience designing enterprise APIs, RESTful services, and microservices.
• Proficient in agile software lifecycle, version control, and build tools such as Git, Nexus, and Maven.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex Java-based software capabilities for computer-based systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions meeting client needs.
• Guide AI agents and automated tests within multi-repository architectures, ensuring security and performance.
