Job summary

Collective Edge, in partnership with Royal Ambulance and Apex Paramedics, seeks a Product Manager for AI & Automation to transform manual workflows into streamlined, data-driven processes. You will discover, quantify, and prioritize opportunities and prototype AI-enabled solutions across the enterprise.

You’ll collaborate with BI and engineering, ensuring adoption and handoff while building repeatable playbooks for future projects.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of demonstrated experience in operational improvements from discovery through prototype, implementation, adoption, and measurable results.
• Strong analytical thinking for breaking down complex, cross-functional workflows and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools (LLM assistants, agents, automation) to prototype and improve real workflows with judicious handoff to engineering.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or similar), GitHub, APIs, and SQL to collaborate with engineers, read specs, and test outputs.
• Strong spreadsheet and data skills: define metrics, trace to sources, establish baselines, and measure results.
• Software engineering not required, but you can turn problems into prototypes and partner with BI/engineering for production deployment.
• Healthcare experience or regulated data exposure is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Shadow and interview operators to document actual workflows, data sources, handoffs, exceptions, and workarounds.
• Quantify workflow costs across labor, capacity, speed, quality, and service with a measurable baseline.
• Assess opportunities, rank by impact and feasibility, and present recommendations to Transformation Partner and executives.
• Maintain a focused portfolio and sequence work by impact and readiness; surface trade-offs.
• Design, prototype, and deliver AI, automation, and no-code/low-code solutions with BI/engineering partnership; move from problem to validated solution.
• Train and support teams; test with real users; ensure adoption and avoid shelfware.
• Prototype and validate solutions, then transition ownership to the appropriate team.
