Job summary

Black Kite is building an internal AI automation function. You will sit between business and build, gathering requirements, assessing feasibility, writing specifications, and delivering prototypes and production automations.

Qualifications

• Experience gathering requirements from business stakeholders and turning them into specifications.
• Ability to assess feasibility and tradeoffs for proposed AI use cases.
• Experience building working prototypes with AI-native tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Run structured requirements sessions with stakeholders across departments to map processes and identify AI leverage.
• Assess feasibility, data, tooling needs, and design considerations for automation.
• Translate needs into written specs including problem, workflow, success metrics, risks, and boundaries.
• Advocate for stakeholder needs and communicate tradeoffs clearly when they diverge.
• Build prototypes to validate approach and gain buy-in before full build.
• Design and build automations using Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, no-code/low-code platforms; manage in GitHub.
• Connect AI capabilities to existing stack (Slack, HubSpot, Jira, Salesforce, Google Workspace).
• Maintain AI templates, prompts, and workflow docs for non-technical teams.
