Job summary

Merck invites you to join the Future Talent Program as an Intern within Global Clinical Trial Operations in the U.S. You will contribute to the Business Enablement team by designing, developing, and deploying technology-based solutions to improve efficiency and user experiences.

The 12-week internship focuses on AI, low-code platforms, and programming to deliver tangible results in a corporate environment. Mentorship and hands-on project exposure are provided.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in CS, IS, Data Science, or Business Analytics.
• Familiarity with Python or low-code platforms preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently on a project from concept to completion.
• Experience with Generative AI tools and prompting is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with SMEs to understand project requirements and goals.
• Design and build digital solutions using Python, Power Platform, or AI features.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Transform static documents into interactive digital experiences.
• Manage deliverables from requirements to handoff with quality documentation.
• Present project findings and value to stakeholders and leadership.
