Job summary

ManpowerGroup, a leading workforce solutions company, seeks an AI Automation Engineer in Chandler, AZ. The role is local-only with a hybrid model (3 days onsite required) to drive AI-enabled workflows and deterministic automation capabilities.

You will lead story refinement, design and code components, and guide delivery with robust logging, validation, and recovery practices. Collaboration across architecture, engineering, and delivery teams is essential.

Qualifications

Strong experience developing complex software or automation solutions that translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable capabilities.
Advanced programming and scripting skills for API development, orchestration, and automation implementations.
Ability to work across AI-enabled use-cases and deterministic automation patterns.
Solid understanding of workflow orchestration, execution control, and operational logic.

Responsibilities

Lead refinement of stories and technical requirements for AI agent use-cases and deterministic automation capabilities.
Estimate work necessary to deliver stories and requirements across AI-enabled and deterministic automation implementations.
Perform spikes, proofs of concept, and technical experiments to reduce delivery risk and inform design directions.
Design, code, and review solution components and unit tests to meet acceptance criteria and engineering standards.
Support secure, observable, and maintainable delivery with proper logging, validation, and resiliency controls.
