Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking Software Engineers – AI Automation (Internal Tools) to design and build AI-driven automations, bots, and internal applications that streamline Finance, HR, IT, Cyber Security, and more. You’ll partner with stakeholders to turn pain points into working systems, tying together APIs, services, and copilots.

You’ll join a small, high-leverage team focused on building AI-powered platforms that replace manual workflows and boost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of professional software engineering experience (internships, research, or substantial personal projects count).
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar.
• Experience building scripts, APIs, small web apps, or workflow automations.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, webhooks, and data modeling using SQL or modern stores.
• Hands-on experience using LLMs or automation platforms to automate tasks.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to talk to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain AI-powered automations and workflows for recurring processes.
• Develop internal tools and microservices that integrate with multiple systems.
• Create Slack/Teams bots, web frontends, and small internal apps.
• Use LLMs and agent frameworks to design task-specific assistants.
• Map workflows into technical requirements and automation designs.
• Contribute to shared libraries, templates, and best practices.
