Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking Software Engineers – AI Automation (Internal Tools) to join our Internal Tools Team. You will design and build AI-driven automations, bots, and internal applications that streamline Voyager’s operations—from finance and HR to supply chain and manufacturing.

You’ll collaborate with the Internal AI Tools Lead and business stakeholders to turn real pain points into working systems, wire up LLMs, and ship copilots that boost speed, accuracy and impact.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of professional software engineering experience (internships, research, or substantial personal projects count).
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience building scripts, APIs, small web apps, or workflows.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, webhooks, and basic data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs or automation platforms to automate tasks.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to talk to non-technical users to ship solutions quickly.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain AI-powered automations and workflows for recurring processes across finance, HR, IT, and operations.
• Develop internal tools and microservices that integrate with multiple systems.
• Create Slack/Teams bots, web frontends, and small internal apps acting as copilots for users.
• Design task-specific assistants using LLMs and agent frameworks.
• Map manual workflows to technical requirements and automation designs.
• Contribute to shared libraries and best practices for internal automations.
• Monitor, debug and improve automations in production.
