Trend, Inc. seeks an AI-native operator who transcends basic tool use by actively tracking, testing, and applying the latest AI advancements to solve real-world problems. You will own building and scaling AI-powered processes across marketing, operations, and internal workflows from concept to implementation and optimization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience using AI to solve real-world problems end-to-end with tangible results.
• Strong understanding of how LLMs work in practice including prompts and context windows.
• Basic coding ability (Python/JavaScript) or fast aptitude to pick it up.
• Familiarity with APIs, data flow, and system design for reliable data execution.
• Experience building AI agents, multi-step workflows, and tool integrations.
• Ability to design automations using platforms like Zapier or Make with complex logic.
• Comfort with structured and unstructured data, transforming and analyzing it in workflows.
• Experience with tools like OpenAI, Claude, or other LLM providers.
• Track record of quickly learning new AI tools and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement cutting-edge AI tools and workflows across the business.
• Design and build end-to-end automation systems using LLMs and no/low-code platforms.
• Rapidly prototype and deploy AI-driven solutions to solve operational and marketing challenges.
• Build systems that pull, analyze, and act on data, generating reports and insights.
• Identify bottlenecks and design AI-powered solutions to eliminate them.
• Collaborate with internal teams to turn ideas into scalable automated systems.
• Monitor performance of automations and iterate for speed, accuracy, and impact.
• Stay up-to-date on new AI releases, tools, and frameworks.
• Conduct marketing research and competitive analysis across SMS and email channels; support campaign setup and reporting.
