Job summary

GO Media in Raleigh, NC is hiring an AI Systems & Automation Specialist to run the plumbing behind our AI workflows. You will replace manual, error-prone tasks with reliable automations and data pipelines, while evaluating new AI tools and discerning vendor value.

This mid-level role welcomes graduates in engineering or CS and those with 2–4 years of software, IT, data analytics, or technical operations experience. On-site collaboration and a bias toward shipping are key.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and data work.
• Comfort with APIs, webhooks, authentication, and cross-system integrations.
• SQL and hands-on experience with messy data.
• Practical experience with modern AI tools and LLM APIs.
• Ability to clearly explain tradeoffs to non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automation pipelines across tools (PM, CRM, ads, file storage, communication).
• Develop internal tools and scripts to eliminate recurring manual work.
• Ensure reliability with monitoring, error handling, and documentation.
• Stay current on AI models and pilot structured experiments with clear success criteria.
