Job summary

Buro Happold in New York City or Pittsburgh is seeking an AI/ML Automation Deployment Specialist to support deployment of AI and automation across US projects, collaborating with regional leads, BIM, and global teams.

The role focuses on enabling engineering teams to use tooling in live project environments, with responsibilities in rollout, documentation, training, and adoption feedback to improve usability and impact.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in the AEC industry supporting engineering, design, or digital delivery workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computational Design, or related discipline; master's preferred.
• Strong capability in Python and data-driven workflows.
• Familiarity with BIM and design environments (Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo).
• Exposure to AI/ML and agentic systems in applied contexts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Enable engineering teams to use existing and emerging tools in live project environments.
• Collaborate with Regional Automation Leads, BIM and computational teams, and global developers.
• Rollout, documentation, testing, and onboarding of AI/ML platforms across US projects.
• Capture feedback and drive continuous improvement for adoption and usability.
