Job summary

Tebra is seeking a hands-on AI & Automation Engineer to design, build, and optimize integrations and AI workflows that power our enterprise operations. You’ll own the Workato automation stack and implement agentic capabilities across Salesforce, NetSuite, Snowflake, and Slack.

Collaborating with stakeholders, you will translate business needs into scalable automated solutions, ensuring reliability, observability, and measurable improvements in efficiency and insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in integration, automation, AI, or software engineering.
• 1+ year hands-on Workato experience.
• Proven expertise with Enterprise iPaaS (Workato, Mulesoft, or similar).
• Deep proficiency designing, implementing, and architecting AI workflows across core platforms.
• Hands-on programming with Python, Ruby, and APIs to build scalable systems.
• Experience with vector databases like Pinecone, Snowflake Cortex, pgvector for RAG.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS preferred.
• Proficiency with GitHub, Jira, and Confluence for docs and version control.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Workato recipes, connectors, and orchestrations for Salesforce, NetSuite, Slack, and Snowflake.
• Implement error handling, observability, and reusable design patterns for reliability and scalability.
• Partner with stakeholders to design agent-callable tools across enterprise platforms.
• Build guardrails, fallbacks, and error recovery for non-deterministic workflows.
• Design and automate data flow processes to support AI retrieval and insights generation.
• Own the Retrieval-Augmented Generation lifecycle end-to-end, including embeddings and reranking.
• Implement data quality checks and governance to ensure trusted datasets for AI agents.
• Production observability: cost monitoring, eval dashboards, and tracing.
