Huckberry is seeking a Business Analyst – AI & Automation to join Strategic Finance in Austin. You will embed with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into analytical requirements, prototype tools, and drive rapid iteration on AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Bachelor’s degree in any field; strong analytical skills are valued over diploma.
• Comfort working with data; SQL is a plus; exposure to Python or scripting helpful but not required.
• Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills with ownership and problem-solving initiative.
• Meaningful experience using AI tools to analyze, build, automate, or solve problems.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to nontechnical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Help build, test, and improve analytical tools used to make decisions across Planning, Merchandising, Buying, E-commerce, Operations, and Growth.
• Use SQL, BigQuery, Hex, and AI tools to analyze data, turn it into actionable insights, prototype solutions, and automate manual workflows.
• Work cross-functionally to understand decision processes and identify leverage through better tooling.
• Translate business questions into analytical requirements and partner with Data & Tech for deeper architecture or production support.
• Build prototypes and internal tools, validate outputs against actual results, and iterate based on feedback.
