Overview
We are seeking an AI & Automation Analyst to support one of our clients in the development of Microsoft Copilot Agents and workflow automation using the Microsoft Power Platform. This role will work under one of the managers on our team and will assist with intake, analysis, and execution of client requests for AI and automation solutions. A key responsibility of this position is to enable client users to configure and maintain their own automations by addressing policy, procedural, or permission‑related obstacles.
Responsibilities
- Support the intake and assessment of automation and AI-related requests from business users.
- Build, configure, and maintain Microsoft Copilot Agents to support defined use cases.
- Develop automation solutions using Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate, and other Power Platform tools.
- Identify and resolve governance, policy, or procedural barriers that prevent users from creating or modifying automations.
- Provide guidance and support to users on best practices for building and managing their own workflow automations.
- Document solutions, configuration steps, and handoff materials for user ownership.
- Collaborate with managers and internal teams to prioritize work and ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure that all automation solutions comply with organizational security and data policies.
Required Experience and Skills
- 2–5 years of experience in a business systems analyst, automation specialist, or related role.
- Experience building or configuring Microsoft Copilot Agents or using Copilot Studio.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including PowerApps and Power Automate.
- Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into automation requirements.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to support non-technical users.
- Experience working within defined governance or permission frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise automation governance programs.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 integrations and SharePoint, Teams, or Dynamics workflows.
- Experience with AI-assisted tools or workflow augmentation.
- Ability to create documentation and user training materials.
