Job summary

PA Consulting is seeking an AI Architect to lead delivery architecture for digital products, AI agents, and modernized platforms. You will translate business problems into executable solutions, shaping opportunities from discovery through deployment and into production.

You will work with product strategists and AI engineers, guiding architecture decisions, ensuring security and reliability, and driving value for clients across healthcare, manufacturing, energy, and other sectors.

Qualifications

• Architecture and engineering foundations.
• Strong software engineering skills, notably Python and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and delivering cloud-native systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on experience building AI applications and agent-based systems in production.
• Experience integrating applications with enterprise systems, data platforms, APIs, identity providers, and MCP-enabled services.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery architecture for digital products, AI agents, intelligent workflows, and modernization initiatives.
• Architect the elements that determine AI production success, including tool selection, memory and context management, guardrail design, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Define, build, and guide the implementation of the technical components that power agentic systems.
• Modernize platforms and applications to meet current business needs.
• Design security and operational resilience into solutions from the start.
• Break down complex problems into deliverable components with defined scope and sequencing.
• Create reusable patterns and tooling to strengthen future engagements.
