Job summary

vTech Solution seeks an AI Architect focused on generative and agentic AI to build, deploy, and maintain AI applications, MCP servers and LLM infrastructure for the agency's AI initiatives. This 11-month onsite contract is based in Montgomery, AL, with 40 hours per week and collaboration across security, DevOps, and data teams.

You will develop agentic tools in Python, manage MCP servers, deploy Dockerized AI services, support RAG workflows, and contribute to HIPAA-compliant, secure AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Proficient in Python for AI application development.
• Experience with Docker containerized environments and MCP servers.
• Experience deploying LLMs (vLLM).
• Familiarity with RAG systems and security/vulnerability review.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and Git/Azure DevOps workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain agentic AI tools using Python and assist with system architecture.

• Assist deployment/maintenance of LLMs using vLLM in Docker environments.

• Collaborate with security to resolve Docker vulnerabilities and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Participate in agile processes and maintain Git/Azure DevOps version control.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an AI Architect focused on generative and agentic AI to develop, deploy, and maintain AI applications, MCP servers, and LLM infrastructure supporting the agency's AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and test agentic AI tools using Python; assist with system architecture
• Build and maintain MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers for AI application integration
• Deploy, operate, and maintain AI applications (mostly Docker containers) in production
• Assist with deployment/maintenance of LLMs using vLLM in Docker environments
• Maintain Open WebUI instances and provide ongoing application support
• Develop documentation and training materials; deliver in-person/recorded training sessions
• Maintain Medicaid AI knowledge bases for RAG
• Assist with server admin tasks, AI model testing/fine-tuning, and infrastructure monitoring
• Work with Information Security Office to resolve code/Docker vulnerabilities; ensure HIPAA compliance
• Participate in agile processes and maintain version control via Git/Azure DevOps

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Experienced non-manager level
• Proficiency in Python for AI application development

• Knowledge of RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) systems
