The Opportunity

As an AI and ML Architect, you will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to support U.S. defense initiatives. Your expertise in ML algorithms, frameworks, and prompt engineering will be crucial in delivering innovative solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective AI strategies, ensuring the deployment of reliable and ethical AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI, ML, or NLP solutions to guide large language models (LLMs)
• Analyze and optimize prompts for accuracy and relevance
• Integrate prompt engineering into broader AI development pipelines
• Maintain and deploy ML models in production environments
• Collaborate with solution architects and team members on mission-critical projects

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with AI, ML, or NLP solutions involving LLMs
• Experience designing, analyzing, and optimizing prompts
• Proficiency with AI frameworks such as OpenAI, LangChain, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, or Python
• Knowledge of large language models and front-end applications
• Secret clearance
• Associate’s degree with 7+ years of solutions architecture experience, or 9+ years of solutions architecture experience without a degree

Preferred Skills

• Experience in AI ethics and bias mitigation
• Familiarity with Palantir Foundry or similar platforms
• Creative prompt design and analytical evaluation skills
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence

Additional Information

This position requires a security investigation and eligibility for access to classified information. The role offers flexible work models, either in person or remote, depending on the listing. The salary range is $99,000 to $225,000 annually, depending on experience and location. The posting is open for 90 days from the posting date.
