Job summary

Hot Load Logistics is seeking an AI Analyst Intern to support the implementation, setup, and ongoing maintenance of DataTruck, our AI-powered logistics and transportation data system. You will work directly with leadership to streamline operations, improve data accuracy, and modernize workflows across freight, dispatching, and transportation management.

This isn’t a coffee-run internship. You’ll have real responsibility and the opportunity to make a measurable impact on how we operate.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical mindset with basic experience in spreadsheets, data cleaning, or tools like Notion, Excel, or Google Sheets.
• Some exposure to AI tools, LLMs, or automation platforms—no deep expertise required, willingness to learn is key.
• Clear communication, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-moving logistics environment.
• Curiosity about trucking, freight operations, TMS, or supply-chain analytics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in configuring, testing, and maintaining the DataTruck platform.
• Clean, structure, and validate logistics datasets.
• Monitor system outputs to ensure accuracy in load tracking, routing, rates, and carrier information.
• Build simple AI workflows or automations to reduce manual work for dispatch and operations.
• Help create dashboards, reports, and analytics that improve decision-making.
• Document processes and support training for internal teams.
• Handle general operations tasks related to freight, dispatch, scheduling, and load coordination as needed.
