Job summary

AGRILAND FS is seeking an analytical-minded intern to join our team in Iowa. You will work with fuel delivery, billing, and operations to observe how work gets done and document it clearly.

You will translate fuzzy requests into actionable requirements for our development team. The role offers flexibility to focus on business analysis or data analysis, using our analytics platform and dashboards, with opportunities to leverage AI for rapid insights and prototyping.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a related field and able to demonstrate relevant coursework or projects.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to pass criminal/credit background check and drug test.
• Ability to participate in required company training including IT policies and security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Meet with fuel delivery, billing, agronomy and operations teams to observe how work gets done.
• Map processes and document findings clearly for action by others.
• Turn fuzzy requests into crisp requirements for development teams.
• Analyze operational data using the analytics platform and dashboards.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, analysis, and prototyping.
• Test new applications from the business user perspective and report gaps.
• Present findings and defend recommendations to the team and business leaders.
