Job summary

NTT DATA Romania is seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to strengthen an internal platform used by engineering teams to ship faster with AI-powered workflows.

You will work on agent development, prompts, evaluation pipelines, GitHub Actions, and developer tooling to make AI agents reliable across repositories. This role emphasizes practical engineering over research, with opportunities to improve deployment reliability and security.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science or related field.
• 3–6+ years as a Platform Engineer.
• Strong Python scripting and automation experience.
• Practical experience building with LLMs, prompts, and AI agents in production.
• Daily use of AI coding assistants or coding agents such as Copilot, Cursor, Kiro, Windsurf, Claude Code.
• Experience designing, testing, and iterating prompts for reliable task execution.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build and stabilize AI workflows across repositories.
• Design agent workflows for docs, testing, code quality, reviews, and security.
• Create prompts and multi-step interactions for reliable execution.
• Improve reliability and usability of agents.
• Utilize AI coding tools to accelerate delivery.
• Develop evaluation pipelines for prompts and agents.
• Build datasets with edge and adversarial cases and add regression checks.
• Maintain GitHub Actions and CI/CD patterns.
• Ensure secure design with least privilege and secrets handling.
