Job summary

Nous Research is seeking a Product Manager for Hermes Agent to own day-to-day direction and execution. You will work directly with the Co-Founder to decide what to build, set priorities, and ensure the engineering team ships features that improve user trust and usefulness.

You will own the Hermes Agent roadmap, run day-to-day product execution, and connect feedback to measurable product decisions. This role requires hands-on AI product experience and strong product judgment.

Qualifications

• Product management experience taking features from ambiguity to launch
• Software background enabling reading code and evaluating tradeoffs
• Hands-on experience shipping AI agent products
• Strong product judgment to prioritise problems
• Ability to lead as an IC creating clarity and momentum
• Excellent written communication for specs and updates
• Comfort owning direction and daily shipping on a small team
• Experience with working hours overlap with US team

Responsibilities

• Own the Hermes Agent roadmap and translate direction into a prioritized plan
• Run day-to-day product execution from problem definition to release coordination
• Use Hermes Agent daily to learn success, friction, and trust factors
• Own user journey from install to first useful task and sustained use
• Turn feedback and usage data into product decisions and tradeoffs
• Define how agent capabilities become usable experiences and reusable skills
• Collaborate with Engineering and Research to set acceptance criteria for task completion and reliability
• Keep releases focused, surface risks early, and manage dependencies
• Define metrics to measure usefulness and set priorities on roadmap and execution
• Prepare clear ship recaps and next steps for the team
• Collaborate with open source community and Hermes Enterprise to improve core agent
