Job summary

FINRA is seeking a Lead Engineer to own the development of software products and mentor engineers while improving product quality throughout the SDLC. The role focuses on AI agent development, orchestration, observability, and tools that scale across teams.

You will architect production-grade AI agents, build governance around agent behavior and system access, and partner with stakeholders to drive AI-first improvements while staying current with LLM tech and best practices. Hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline and at least 7 years of experience.
• Strong system design experience and OO programming.
• Experience with cloud technologies, data storage, and performance tuning.
• Proficient in DevOps, CI/CD, and software security practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop production-grade AI agents and automation for SDLC.
• Architect and maintain production infrastructure for agent deployment and scaling.
• Build governance and observability for agent tooling.
• Collaborate with teams to drive adoption of AI-powered tooling.
