Job summary

Psomagen, Inc. is seeking a hands-on AI developer to lead the company's AI transformation. You will design, build and operate AI agents that read, draft and act within defined permissions across Google Workspace, HubSpot, LIMS and SAP.

This is a builder role focused on delivering tangible automations in production. You will collaborate with the CEO and diverse teams to identify high-value workflows, architect scalable agent infra, and ensure secure, auditable deployments that improve efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience, with strong Python skills.
• Proven experience building and operating LLM-based agents in production or substantial real-world use.
• Knowledge of frontier AI models and agent tooling, with ability to explain trade-offs among models, frameworks and cost.
• Experience connecting software or agents to business systems (e.g., Google Workspace, HubSpot, SAP, or similar), including authentication and permission design.
• Strong communication skills, and comfort working with non-technical colleagues to understand their workflows.
• Awareness of data security and privacy requirements when AI handles customer, financial or health-related data.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and operate AI agents using Hermes and comparable frameworks, ensuring models remain swappable.
• Connect agents to business systems (Google Workspace, HubSpot, LIMS, SAP) with appropriate integrations.
• Collaborate with sales, project management, lab operations, finance, regulatory/quality and IT to turn workflows into working agents.
• Build infrastructure for knowledge retrieval, evaluation, logging, monitoring and cost control.
• Implement guardrails: role-based access, audit trails and human approvals for sensitive actions.
• Work with LIMS development and bioinformatics teams to fit existing systems and pipelines.
• Train employees to use agents, gather feedback and iterate on deployments.
• Track new AI models and practices, adopting those that meaningfully improve the business.
