Job summary

Unissant, Inc. is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer - Agent Development to join its MissionWorks team and build AI-enabled capabilities for customer and internal use cases.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on builder with strong software fundamentals, curiosity, and a pragmatic approach to turning ideas into usable AI capabilities. You will work to translate needs into prototypes, workflows, and reusable software components in a secure, mission-focused setting.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years in software engineering, data engineering, automation, cloud engineering, AI development, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python is required.
• Experience with C++ or ability to become productive quickly.
• Familiarity with APIs, JSON, databases, data structures, and system integration.
• Experience with generative AI, LLMs, agent frameworks, or workflow automation is a plus.
• Able to learn new tools quickly and work in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI agents, prototypes, workflow automations, and integrations.
• Use Python to build and test AI-enabled software and components; C++ when needed.
• Assist with AI-enabled applications using approved tools, data sources, and APIs.
• Design agent workflows, prompts, tool use, and evaluation methods.
• Integrate applications with APIs, data sources, cloud services, and internal systems.
• Translate user needs into technical tasks, prototypes, and iterative releases.
