Job summary

Sierra is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to help design and develop AI agents used by customers worldwide. You will contribute to building production-grade features and learn from real-world use cases at scale.

You will work in a fast-paced, hands-on role that blends software engineering with AI, gaining experience on end-to-end development and deployment in a human-centered AI platform.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field
• Strong technical problem-solving skills, especially in fast-changing, ambiguous environments
• A builder and tinkerer’s mindset with high agency - you find creative ways to overcome obstacles and ship
• Excellent communication skills - clear, direct, and persuasive across technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• As a Software Engineer Intern, you’ll work directly on production AI agents for Sierra’s customers.
• You’ll gain hands-on experience contributing to the design and development of AI agents, shipping features, and learning from real-world use cases at scale.
