Job summary

WRITER is hiring a skilled full‑stack software engineer to build AI‑driven agent systems that autonomously execute workflows across enterprise apps. You’ll design and scale production‑ready software, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to turn complex agent concepts into robust systems.

You’ll work on memory, communication channels, security, and orchestration patterns, with Cloud, Docker/Kubernetes, and modern AI frameworks. Authorization and governance are core to the role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong proficiency in Python in production environments.
• Proficiency in native agentic coding with tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and other agentic coding platforms.
• Experience building distributed systems, microservices, or complex backend APIs that support AI/agent workflows.
• Expertise with AI models, agent frameworks (Langraph, Agent Harness or similar), vector databases, and large-context reasoning services.
• Understanding of agent orchestration patterns, state management, and asynchronous workflows.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, Docker/Kubernetes, and operational engineering best practices.
• Strong testing, CI/CD, and performance optimization skills; excellent collaboration and communication.
• Past work on AI agents coordinating multi-step actions and autonomous decision-making.
• Contributions to open-source agent toolkits or SDKs.
• Experience with frontend tooling around agent management interfaces (React, TypeScript).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure agent-driven services and systems that autonomously accomplish tasks using modern AI frameworks.
• Develop and enhance robust infrastructure and high-throughput APIs supporting AI/agent workflows.
• Integrate agent capabilities with backend services, data stores, vector databases, search/retrieval systems, and external APIs.
• Collaborate with product managers, AI researchers, data engineers, and UX teams to translate use cases into production-ready software.
• Ensure reliability, monitoring, and observability for all agent components (metrics, logging, CI/CD).
• Contribute to architectural design decisions and participate in rigorous code reviews to uphold quality.
