Job summary

Oberon in Los Angeles seeks a software engineer who already builds with AI agents by default. You will own work across client projects, sales tooling, and internal platform tools, with no fixed lane and a lot of ownership from day one.

You will collaborate closely with our delivery partner and platform lead in an in-person, LA-based team environment, shipping real work and iterating quickly.

Qualifications

• Experience with AI agents and toolchains.
• At least one shipped project beyond a basic chatbot.
• Ability to read unfamiliar code quickly.
• Self-directed with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve the tools our sales team uses to find and reach new customers.
• Ship features and fixes for clients we're already working with.
• Improve our own internal tools, so something built for one purpose doesn't have to be rebuilt.
• Pick up other technical work as it comes up from a shared backlog with no owner.
• Work directly with our platform lead, and specialize over time in whichever area fits you best.
