University Hospitals in Cleveland, OH seeks an AHA Training Instructor to coordinate courses, select classrooms, and ensure instructor and student ratios meet standards. You will apply adult learning techniques and adapt materials to enhance learning outcomes.

The role requires RN or equivalent, with ACLS/PALS/BLS certifications and prior instructor experience. Per diem schedule, with travel between Parma and Cleveland facilities, is possible.

Formación

• RN or applicable certificate training program is required.
• 2+ years ACLS, PALS & BLS certifications are required.
• 2+ years instructor experience teaching BLS, ACLS & PALS is preferred.
• AHA Training Center Faculty (TCF) experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate classroom aspects of AHA courses to meet standards.
• Reserve and organize classrooms and equipment for classes.
• Ensure instructors, equipment, and student ratios meet AHA/UH standards.
• Apply adult learning techniques and adapt training materials.
• Prepare lesson plans based on AHA curriculum and competency-based education.
• Instruct and facilitate interactive learning and assess trainee performance.
• Select and use audiovisual hardware to reinforce learning.
• Evaluate and document classroom and lab learning using approved formats.
