Job summary

Prince William Sound College is seeking two adjunct instructors to teach American Heart Association CPR and basic first aid workshops for students, community members, and industry partners. Instructors will use AHA curriculum and provide hands-on practice in small groups, with 2–4 workshops per term depending on demand.

Experience teaching CPR/AED and first aid is highly desirable. Heartsaver Instructor certification is preferred; applicants certified by other organizations are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching CPR, AED, and basic first aid.
• Willing to obtain or already have American Heart Association Heartsaver Instructor certification.
• Applicants certified through other recognized CPR/first aid organizations encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Teach AHA CPR, AED and basic first aid workshops using approved curriculum.
• Conduct hands-on skills practice with small groups of about 6 students per session.
• Schedule 2–4 workshops per term or as needed based on demand and instructor availability.
