NEW Cooperative is seeking an agronomy support professional to assist with in-season operations, field research, and grower support. You will shadow experienced agronomy sales specialists, learn selling strategies, and help provide exceptional service to customers.

Qualifications include an associate degree or equivalent agronomy experience and a CDL with tanker/HazMat endorsements. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and continuous learning within a cooperative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate’s degree or equivalent experience in agronomy.
• Must be licensed and insurable to drive with Class A CDL, tanker and HazMat endorsement.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills for interacting with teammates, customers, and contractors.
• Ability to apply common sense to follow written or oral instructions and understand seasonality.

Responsibilities

• Shadow experienced agronomy sales specialists to learn selling strategies and processes.
• Provide excellent customer service before, during and after the sale while meeting sales goals.
• Identify potential customers and help build relationships with prospects.
• Assist with planting, harvest, soil sampling, and agronomy operations for customers.
