Job summary

South Central FS in Effingham, IL seeks an Agronomy Operations Manager to oversee daily operations of all Agronomy facilities, maximizing efficiency and profitability. You will supervise Location Managers, drive performance, and align with marketing objectives to achieve profitability goals.

The role requires a college degree in business or marketing and at least several years of leadership experience, with a focus on budgeting, safety, and operations optimization.

Qualifications

• College degree in business or marketing, and at least six (5) years in a related business leadership role.
• Experience developing budgets, overseeing location expenses, and implementing performance evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, lead, and direct all Agronomy Location Managers.
• Develop and implement operations management plans including communications.
• Manage and evaluate personnel and structure regularly.
• Assist in management of fixed assets, inventories, and location expenses.
• Promote teamwork across departments and locations and with TGM personnel.
• Develop and implement efficiency metrics for agronomy applications.
• Identify and implement technology for equipment and processes.
• Ensure safety rules, programs, and environmental objectives are followed.
• Develop location plans for facility upkeep and cleanliness.
• Address patron complaints related to operations.
• Adhere to EHS, OSHA and DOT policies at all times.
• Attend required meetings and training programs.
• Support the GROWMARK System.
• Develop area budgets and participate in company budgeting.
