Job summary

You will develop customer relationships, grow personnel capabilities, optimize facilities and equipment, and oversee financial planning and reporting. You will work with regional leadership to drive sales growth, manage inventory and assets, ensure compliance and safety, and develop short- and long-term plans for the location.

Qualifications

• Personnel management, communications, customer focus and decision making.
• Basic agronomy knowledge: insects, weeds, diseases, fertility.
• Financial literacy: reading and understanding financial statements.
• Valid driver's license with ability to obtain certifications and permits.
• 1A and Category 14 licenses.
• Willingness to work long hours and be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Meet location goals and drive sales growth.
• Develop location personnel capabilities: hiring, coaching, training.
• Support Region manager in sales and account management.
• Supervise mixing, loading and dispatch.
• Manage facility inventory: forecasting, purchasing.
• Manage facility finances: budgeting, billing, AR/AP, prepays.
• Maintain facility assets: maintenance and replacements.
• Make crop protection and fertility recommendations using DataOnTouch.
• Manage location recordkeeping: financial and production records.
• Manage location risk: compliance, safety training, inspections.
• Develop short- and long-term location plans.
