Job summary

Hansen Agri PLACEMENT is assisting a well-established agricultural cooperative in Nebraska to recruit an Agronomy Location Manager. This leadership role oversees all aspects of location operations, including personnel, inventory, scheduling, and customer relations, with accountability for sales performance and profitability.

The successful candidate will lead agronomy staff, provide crop-nutrient and seed recommendations, maintain records, and ensure regulatory and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of agronomy experience required.
• Leadership and personnel management experience required.
• Four year degree and/or equivalent related experience.
• Strong knowledge of crop nutrients, crop protection products, seed, and agronomy operations.
• Commercial Custom Applicator License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for location employees.
• Oversee daily agronomy operations, staffing, scheduling, and workflow.
• Manage and develop location personnel.
• Coordinate sales goals and support business growth.
• Maintain relationships with growers and patrons.
• Provide agronomic recommendations on fertilizer, crop protection products, and seed.
• Oversee inventory, purchasing, contracts, billing, and records.
• Coordinate seasonal staffing and workloads.
• Monitor location performance, expenses, sales, and profitability.
• Ensure equipment, facilities, and operations are safe and compliant.
• Coordinate required safety training and documentation.
• Conduct employee performance reviews and set goals.
• Promote a positive, productive, customer-focused work environment.
• Collaborate with senior agronomy leadership on objectives.
