Prairieland FS, Inc. is seeking a Location Manager to oversee the agronomy location’s operations, personnel, and profitability. You will lead staff, manage inventory and equipment, and drive sales growth while ensuring excellent service and cost efficiency.

You will collaborate with administrative and marketing teams to implement company programs, ensure safety, and maintain customer satisfaction in a dynamic agricultural environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Business, or related field (or equivalent).
• CDL with HazMat/Tanker endorsements within six months and clean driving record.
• All required pesticide licenses within six months of employment.
• Supervisory experience in location management preferred.
• Experience in agricultural retail operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of retail agricultural products and operations management.
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience with precision farming tools.
• Willingness to perform fieldwork and physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day agronomy location operations, scheduling, inventory, and logistics.
• Lead and manage a team including hiring, training, and performance reviews.
• Develop strategies to drive sales, improve service, and boost efficiency.
• Collaborate with marketing to tailor solutions for crop protection, nutrients, seed, and energy products.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and accurate record-keeping.
• Manage location budget, monitor financials, and pursue profitability improvements.
• Foster relationships with customers, suppliers, and the local community.
