Job summary

AgVantage FS in Iowa offers a Summer 2027 GROWMARK Agronomy Internship to support agronomy operations and farmer-member customers. You'll gain hands-on experience in crop production, field scouting, precision agriculture, and customer service through the GROWMARK Internship Program.

The internship includes mentorship, professional development, networking, and a capstone project. You will work with agronomy professionals, participate in field trials, and travel to FS locations to build

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree or certification from a college or university and in good academic standing at the start.
Interest in agronomy, crop production, and agriculture.
Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
Able to lift up to 70 pounds and travel as needed.
Willing to participate in required training.

Responsibilities

Support agronomy operations and assist professionals in serving farmer-member customers.
Learn crop production practices, crop protection products, plant nutrition, and agronomic recommendations.
Conduct field scouting, monitor crop health and collect data.
Assist with trials, plot work, field demonstrations, and research projects.
Utilize precision agriculture tools for scouting and data collection.
Travel to FS locations to build relationships.
Participate in safety and regulatory compliance.
