Job summary

Cooperative Farmers Elevator in Inwood, IA is seeking an Agronomy Intern to gain hands-on experience across agronomy sales, field scouting, ag fairs, and customer interactions.

You will assist agronomists with crop protection products, help sort seed on pallets, organize inventory, and learn the ins and outs of the cooperative system while supporting our sustainability in agriculture mission.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic math skills
• Ability to work long seasonal hours
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and attention to detail
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Assist Agronomists with grower's crop protection chemicals, seed or other agronomy products and/or services
• Field scouting
• Sort seed on pallets, organize inventory
• Collaboratively work with location and departmental personnel
