Job summary

CHS Dakota Agronomy Partners in Minot, ND is seeking a motivated Agronomy Sales Representative, Associate to engage directly with farmers and producers, presenting crop protection, nutrients, seeds, and other services. You will perform on‑farm sales presentations and work to grow local producer profitability.

The role requires strong communication, sales experience in agriculture, and the ability to implement sales plans while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Must have strong foundational knowledge in sales, business development, and sales operations.
• Proven ability to present to farmers, ranchers and producers with consultative selling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.

Responsibilities

• Execute sales plans to achieve goals and increase profitability.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing programs to meet complex business needs.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, distribution, operations, technical staff and credit to improve efficiency.
• Foster long-term relationships with suppliers and customers for repeat business.
• Provide consultative services by combining relationships with product, marketing and technical skills.
• Prepare sales presentations, bids and proposals to close transactions.
• Train staff and customers on products and CRM tools.
• Address customer inquiries and service issues in a courteous, professional manner.
• Lead sales projects and mentor junior staff.
• Maintain knowledge of multiple products and apply it across the role.
