CHS Inc. is seeking an Agronomy Facility Manager for our meg plant in Selby, SD. You will oversee daily operations, enforce safety rules, and manage grain quality while coordinating with agronomists to optimize performance and margins.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in Operations or Business Operations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work additional hours and weekends.
• CDL Class A preferred or obtainable.
• Agriculture background preferred.
• Experience receiving product via rail preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct operational activities to meet divisional objectives and maximize profit.
• Promote communication and information flow within the organization.
• Provide training and assign tasks, address deficiencies, reward and develop staff.
• Improve housekeeping, safety, and equipment maintenance programs.
• Maintain safety records and related logs; monitor inventory quality.
• Oversee equipment operation (loaders, conveyors, tractors, mobile units).
• Dispatch sprayer and floater operators with Agronomists.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Other responsibilities include scheduling grain movement, plant maintenance, supervise team members, oversee and manage grain quality and make recommendations to improve safety. Apply today! **Responsibilities** * Direct operational activities according to divisional objectives to provide patrons with prompt, courteous and effective service while maintain the efficiently necessary to achieve a maximum margin of profit* Promote communication and adequate information flow within the organization* Provide training and clear job assignments, correct deficient performance and effective reward and develop all employees* Evaluate and make recommendations to improve existing programs of housekeeping, safety and equipment maintenance to avoid breakdowns and limit safety hazards. Maintain all related record keeping logs.* Evaluate the results of overall operations regularly and systematically and reports these results to management.* Maintain record keeping logs on all facility equipment* Accountable for location safety practices and upkeeping all safety records* Monitor condition and maintain quality of inventory.* Ability to operate loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile* Dispatch sprayer and floater operators, in conjunction with Agronomists.* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or needed. **Minimum Qualifications (required)** * High School diploma or GED* 2+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations **Additional Qualifications** * Ability to work additional hours and weekends to meet business demands* Valid Class A CDL preferred or ability to obtain one* Agriculture background preferred* Customer service experience* Experience receiving product via rail preferred CHS offers a competitive total rewards package.
