Job summary

Frontier Cooperative is seeking an agronomy professional to plan and consult with farmers, analyze product performance, and optimize seed, fertilizer, and chemical strategies. You will support sales growth, manage field operations, and collaborate with location teams to deliver value from planting to harvest.

The role emphasizes customer relations, field analysis, and coordination of logistics with dispatch and accounting to ensure timely service and accurate billing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or related field, or 3+ years of agronomy/sales experience.
• Knowledge of soil fertility, fertilizers, seed traits, crop life cycles and ag chemistry.
• Proficient with MS Office and agronomy software.
• Ability to operate company vehicles and handling equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present customized Farm Plans to improve crop production efficiency and profitability.
• Analyze past product performance, seed decisions, fertility practices and forecast outcomes.
• Make recommendations on seed type, rotations, fertilizer, pesticides, and insecticides.
• Conduct in-field analysis and clearly communicate findings to producers.
• Coordinate logistics and work orders reflecting field instructions and billing.
• Support sales growth and maintain agronomy customer base from planting through harvest.
