Job summary

Bayer is seeking an Agronomic Research Manager III to lead field trials and data management in a residence-based capacity. You will oversee protocols, ensure safety and compliance, and coordinate with PDT and ODT to enhance field testing operations within a broad crop portfolio.

Required qualifications include a agriculture degree and advanced crop production/GIS knowledge; CDL or ability to obtain; and commitment to safety and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture or related discipline.
• Advanced knowledge of crop production in an assigned geography including corn, canola, soybean, cotton, cereals, vegetables, and specialty crops.
• Advanced knowledge of precision farming/GIS systems.
• Obtain and maintain a pesticide applicator certification in the state(s) within the territory.
• Hold a current Commercial Driver License (CDL), or have ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Implement small replicated plots or field-scale research testing; manage data using internal databases; ensure field protocol information and materials sourcing are available in a timely manner; perform safety training and operate field equipment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines for field research activities; recruit and oversee temporary assistants; collaborate cross-functionally on field testing and equipment projects; support protocol development and field testing operations.
