Job summary

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County invites applications for an Agriculture Team Leader based in the Jamestown, NY office. The position requires a Master’s degree (Agriculture or related field) and 2+ years of experience, with strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Agriculture or closely-related field (or Master’s in Management/Business with Agriculture background).
• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to travel as needed and pass background checks.
• Strong communication in English (spoken and written).
• Proficient with Windows-based software including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in assessment, development, planning, delivery, and evaluation of agriculture education programs.
• Assist Executive Director with delegated finance, administrative, HR, and facilities operations; act in absence of ED.
• Lead program assessment, development, delivery, and evaluation aligned with Plan of Work.
• Oversee administrative and financial management to support the agriculture program area.
• Coordinate with Cornell faculty and regional partners to guide program direction and evaluation.
