Job summary

Syngenta Crop Protection is seeking a Technician 5 in Vero Beach, FL to support laboratory, greenhouse, and field research activities. You will prepare plants, seeds, insects, media, and assays for trials, while maintaining meticulous records and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Agriculture or Biology, or high school diploma with relevant lab/greenhouse experience.
• Experience with laboratory and greenhouse techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support laboratory, greenhouse, and field research activities with accurate preparation of materials.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of data and observations.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean and compliant with health, safety, and environmental policies.
